I'm buttoning up my 65 Dart wagon that I bought this year. It came with steering column uninstalled and I'm struggling to hook everything back up. The column is in but the shift cables still need to be hooked up. Where do the two cables hook to? And what about the metal bracket things on the cables? Anyone have any diagrams or advice? Thanks.
I think I have one of the cables in the right place, this other one with the larger end I have no idea where it goes. See photo

Groan. That '65-only twin-cable column shifter is full of parts (some of which appear to be missing in your photo...such as the very necessary cover).

This really cannot be assembled and adjusted without a factory service manual.

I agree with Dan, I have a push-button, You need the factory manual and talk to Pat Blais you can Google torqueflite parts on eBay and find him. He is very knowledgeable and also sells brand new parts as well.
