Here it is off of a 66 273 charger. there was a holley 4160 600cfm mounted to it.

I've decided to go buy an Edelbrock carb for my stock 273 4bbl motor. Can anyone tell me if the Edelbrok 1404 will work? It seems to be the right one but on ebay it says that carb is not compatible with my motor. Do I have to use an adapter plate for an Edelbrock?
The secondaries are too large and will not open fully, Use the adapter plate.
