Hello, my name is Matt. New to the site, but was born and raised Mopar. I recently purchased a 1965 Barracuda and when I got it it had a transmission leak. I pulled the tyranny and found that the torque converter snout was cracked. I replaced the torque converter and the seal. It still leaked a little at first, but now it leaks a lot especially after driving on the freeway. It doesn't leak when it's not running and leaks more so in neutral.

Could it be I didn't get the seal in right?

I did have some trouble when I first tried to install it because the auto store gave me the wrong converter. I'm hoping it's just the seal and not something to do with the pump. There are some scratches on the outside of the converter snout.

Do I need to replace the sleeve?

I just pulled the tyranny tonight and will be installing a new seal tomorrow. I am tired of buying trans fluid. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
