65 Barracuda drivers side air box question

Is the driver side airbox in a 65 Barracuda the same as a 70-72 Dart/Demon?

Nope, totally different. For one, the later style bolts to the cowl where the early style hangs from a couple looped wires inside the box. Then there's the difference between the doors, and probably the biggest difference is the mounting flange is not the same size. Don't you wish it were that easy?? Geof

Now, if you were going to meet someone to buy an early box with a good door hinge and it was cheap, I would've snagged it. An early A box with a good hinge is almost impossible to find, I paid almost $100.00 for a perfect one more than 10 years ago!! Geof
