Guy before me put 318 in slant 6 car never changed drag link so now I'm looking for a 65 barracuda v8 drag link.
 
Sometimes you don't need one. It all depends on what oil pan you use and how the engine sits in the car. I didn't put one on my 65 and it cleared. It was close but it never touched.

Mines close maybe 1/8th inch
 
Can grind down a small section on link where it rubs a little on pan, as well.
