Selling a 65 V8 904 cable shift transmission. It is supposed to be rebuilt, but I never started the car and cannot say if it’s good or not. Lets call it a core! It has a chunk broken on the top of the bellhousing, but I do have the chunk, so it can be welded back. Cables are in excellent shape and included, as is the shifter mechanism itself. I’m keeping the cover to use back on an aftermarket shifter. This trans was hooked to a 360, and the original converter was balanced for a 360. There is some kind of jakey looking spacer on the converter hub to make up the difference in crank register size between a 360 and 273. Looks like a piece of pvc pipe to me! The driveshaft was shortened to fit an 8 1/4 rearend that is in the car. It (driveshaft) can be included for extra if you need it.
