OK, I have a new to me 65 Barracuda that I want to do some body work on, and I haven't gotten a repro manual yet. So how does one go about removing the rocker area trim specifically?

I have not found anything on the forums as of now, so it's probably staring me in the face!! LOL

your rocker trim snaps onto plastic retainer clips. be careful taking them off. might be a sheet metal screw at the front of it, don't remember.

you might check with Laysons. R T Specialites is a possibility also. I was able to reuse all mine when I did the 65 cuda last year. good luck

The lower rocker moulding clips are hard to find. You can get the 67 GTX clips and with a little sanding those will work. If you pry carefully they usually survive for re-use.

Thanks again guys, did end up losing two in the learning process.

Barbee6043, you were correct that both Laysons and R/T Specialties have usable replacements. I may end up looking at some ingenuity solutions too as the nylon blocks themselves are reusable.
