65 commando air cleaner

anyone know the size of the 65 commando air cleaner, looking to get a similar one but no room in the budget for the real one, thanks

The 67-69 Slant six top is very close. What size air horn carb are you using ? the early AFB was 4 and 3/4 or 7/8 if I remember. The later are 5 1/8''. You can play around and make a base from a cheapie 9 or 10'' chrome parts store cleaner. Some photos for you (Not Chrome like the originals,something you can do later.) I was messing around with this awhile back.NOW THESE PHOTOS are using the 1964 Slant air cleaner.THEY ARE JUST FOR REFERENCE.Using a 6'' 4 bbl base.You'll get the idea.

One more,,OK two.You can work the Slant six base,cut and weld.
