What will it take to fit my 360 in my 65 cuda it has a 273 now.
I got a 8 1/4 for the rear. Can i use the exhaust manifolds off my
340, do i need custom headers, what will it take.

You need to "add" a bolt hole to one of the motor mounts. Otherwise it's a bolt in. Use the brackets and pulleys off the 273, as well as the early style water pump if you are keeping the same radiator. If you are using the early trans the 360 will require a counterweighted flexplate. If you use a later trans, you need to either use an aftermarket shifter or a cable adaptor. The 273 exhaust manifolds can be gasket matched to the 273 heads, but they only support 250 hp or so.

Ouch, so that's why my 375hp 340 isn't as "peppy" as it should be... Spitfires coming soon...
