65 cuda window felt

Finally got around to checking out the lack of felts on this car, anywhere.
I'm not sure how these attach to the car but it looks like the mounts that the felt clips clip into are pretty badly rusted away. I don't know if you can make it out in the picture but most of the "ears" are missing. Am I totally screwed?

If I'm not mistaken those "ears' were actually attached to the window felt. Remove them and you should see a small rectangular opening where the new clips on the window weatherstripping just pop into place. That's the way it was on my 65 GT convertible.

That would be sweet. The manual doesn't realy show detail and i haven't ordered the felts yet. I'll try it this weekend.

The new "cat whiskers" will have the clips already installed, so just pop those old rusted ones out of the holes and when you get new ones pop them right in. Good luck, Geof
