anyone give some instruction? /6 won't turn over at all, need to pull it with trans. thanks BILL
65 dart remove trans shift cables????

Hey Bill
shift and park cables are held in by a small retaining spring clip.
park cable; loosen retaining clamp bolt, remove small allen plug on bottom of the housing, with a small screwdriver in through plug hole push up on end of wire clip to release cable and pull cable housing out of park housing.
shift cable; same procudure only remove bolt on retaining plate don't rotate plate as that is adjustment for cable, remove plug on side of housing , and push in like park cable to remove.

thanks for the tips. will try later today when i catch my wind. pulled the head, intake and exhaust manifold, got all the seats out, pulled the gas tank. not as young as i once was, but just as ignorant as i ever was!? otherwise i would go to the bank, borrow enough to get done car!??LOL! got to figure out best thing to soak bores with, got a feeling theres some broke down low.
