65 Dart windlace install advice

I will be installing new windlace on my 2 door sedan (post) this weekend. Since the windlace on the sedan attaches completely around the perimeter of the door opening, where is the best place to start/stop the windlace? Under the carpet hold down? I've searched the threads and can't find this info, so any advice would be very helpful. Thanks

That's where I started since Under the carpet hold down is where You want the (start/finish) seam...
