65 signet rear brakes

Hi members i have a question about my rear brakes on my 65 signet commando 4 speed car
I'm putting the rear brakes back together after being apart for many years and i cannot remember where the thin white foam seal goes , dose it go between the axle housing (diff ) and the break backing plate outside the brake drum .
Or dose it go between the brake backing plate and the axle fixing flange , inside the brake drum
i cannot see it in any of my photos and cannot see it in my workshop manual

Between axle housing and backing plate= metal 5-hole gasket. Between backing plate and axle retainer= white foam 5-hole gasket.

Thanks for that I’ve been wondering about it for weeks I have put it together wrong so I’ll change it before I put the brakes back in on the weekend.
