65 tail lights

Just received gasket kit for 65 tail lights. I want to take them off and separate lenses from housing clean up and then spray inside housing with reflective paint to make brake lights a little brighter. I have lights off but afraid to separate lenses from housing they are stuck together tight. My concern is that I'll end up damaging or breaking something. Does anyone know a good way to get them apart with damaging them? thanks

Spray em down with a little wd40 around the gasketing area!

You have the three screws out (countersunk beneath the gasket)?

Ahhhh, counter sunk screws, did not see those in there. That is why I come here, thanks so much.
