66 barracuda dashboard ashtray?

anyone know how to get it open?? Im thinking its an ashtray (to the right of the ignition switch on the dash) but I cant figure out how to open it. my car has an astray in the console but I would like to at least get the oter one open lol

The top edge pulls out, there 's a small indent on the lower portion that you can push forward/up and it should swivel around a pivot.
Hope this makes sense.

yeah I was surprised. I don't think it has ever been opened.. the plastic sliders looked brand spanking new... nothing in it... hmmm.. what can I use it for.....military ID card holder for driving on base roflmao
