Any reason 66 Cuda seats wouldn't work in my 64 valiant? Also, in looking at seat upholstery from Classic industries....are the seat frames the same for. 64-66 valiant, signet, barracuda? Just want to know what my options are. Also, where do you recommend getting upholstery kits from? Thx

66 buckets will bolt into a 64, but are different and lighter. I use Legendary. If using 66 seats use 66 upholstery. All A bodies buckets are the same in the same year.

There are a few differences in 64-5 and 66 seats that would necessitate using 66 only upholstery! First, the bun shape is different, the backs are different, and in 66 the back of the seat back is a metal piece whereas the 64-6 use a hard panel insert back that may be carpeted on the lower 3rd of the panel, depending on which car they came from! Besides that, the tracks are different between 64-5 and the 66 seats!! Yea, the 66 seats might probably bolt in, but you may encounter a different height than the 64-5 units!

I am using a passenger 66 Dart bucket in my 65 wagon and it was nearly a bolt-in. I think I had to drill 1 or two holes. For the driver's side I'm using a power seat rack out of a 68 C Body Town and Country wagon which was nearly a bolt in like the passenger seat. Then the 66 Dart driver's seat is bolted to the rack which was nearly a bolt-in as well. I'm using 66 Barracuda interior on both the front buckets and rear Barracuda fold down seat - yes the 64/65/66 Barracuda rear fold down seat is a bolt in for the wagon rear seat.

It works great!!! It fits well and looks like ita always been in there....a couple tweaks and ill be running down thr road
