66 Cuda gas tank question

Ok gents, I need a quick easy to do favor. on my 66 Cuda, I can see where on the fill hose there is a vent line coming down, but its not connected to the tank, just the filler hose.. Anyone have a pic of where a hose is supposed to go? I cant find a nipple to run a hose from the vent line to the tank anywhere... or is it supposed to be disconnected???

The vent line is connected to a nipple on the fill pipe that goes into the tank, it then is routed to the open air under the car. It does not connect to the tank itself. Hope that helps.

Ok, I just saw an open line coming off of the tank and was scratching my head trying to find a nipple on the tank to run a hose too.... Lines with no hoses attached freak me out lol

I added a 1/4" fuel line close to brake line route, then to evaporative canister under battery. I also changed to Holley 2280 carb with bowl vent, and added purge hose. Works very well. No stink in garage.
