66 dart factory 4bbl linkage & tranny kickdown cable

Hi Guys, it's me once again!! I am trying to change my 66 dart 273/2bbl to a 4bbl carb. I have been given great advice! So...... does anyone have the factory 4bbl linkage & tranny kickdown cable???? If so , please let me know. I need all the help I can get on this one...... Thanks guys!

kick donw from the factory is not a cable,, it is hard linkage,,the after market makes a cable conversion,,,good luck on your search

I believe I have that set you are looking for.Not sure if it is 100% complete.I do have the part that bolts to the back of the cylinder head with pivot.I'll dig it out and get you pics if you wish.Check the factory service manual for an idea of how many pieces and maybe the shape of the parts.PM me with your e-mail addy for pics.Bob

I have a 1968 - 69 340 4 bbl intake manifold with a Carter AVS 4425S on my 1967 Barracuda 273 V8. I just had it rebuilt & the only 4 bbl intakes I could find were for marine applications & a guy on the yahoo groups page for Barracuda Owner Group. So I put the 340 back on. It doesn't leak & the engine runs good. Ray

Here is a couple of pics of the linkage on my 66 273 4 barrel. It is all 340 stuff, from 68-9 I believe. You need the throttle bracket too. I believe I got it all from a vendor at a swap meet, Hardens or Penstar or someone like that. Sorry about the condition of the engine, I get a lot of condensation in my shop and it's a killer on winter storage. Good luck, Geof
