Thanks for that. I wondered how they come off.

Ours is getting done pearl white. 49,000 original miles.

340, once the end pieces (Ys) are removed the top trim will slide off easy enough and should pop back on after paint. I've a picture of the fasteners on page one. The rocker moulding is held on with large rectangular fasteners and it just pops off.

I just pulled trim so I could get behind the material covering the sail panel and got to the GT nuts. I dropped a wrench behind there but was able to retrieve it through the trunk.

I plan on replacing some of the hard to reach nuts with push on retainers, anything to make it go together easier.
 
Boy time flies. I haven't quit on the car and have gotten quite a bit done, just slackin' on updates and back in the field working. Body is painted but haven't done inside the trunk yet, I'll concentrate on puting the car back together while I still kind of remember how. I found that NAPA has a book listing fasteners and was able to order some I needed and they arrived the next morning. Also found that masking s*cks. :-|
