M motorpirate serial mopar owner Joined Nov 4, 2007 Messages 720 Reaction score 557 Location northern KY Feb 1, 2008 #2 There are more than one set of holes so you can adjust them for the tension needed to just hold the deck lid open.sounds like you need to "back off a hole".Both sides the same please.
