Selling my beloved 1966 Valiant Slant 6. Location: Newark, CA (near San Jose / Fremont).
Was a daily driver until I put it on PNO in December to work on the head, which had leaky valves. Includes a fully rebuilt head (rebuilt by Ron's Automotive in Hayward in December, fully milled / trued, all new valves, springs, guides, hardware etc. including hardened valve seats for unleaded gas). Head is installed. Still needs alternatoe, intake/exhaust manifolds and radiator hoses installed.
I have all the new parts needed to finish the installation.
Ran and shifted well enough before I put it on PNO. Head needed to be rebuilt but there had been no leaks, just a bad valve seat.
The passenger fender is off, waiting to be un-crinkled. Same for the passenger door. Needs a headliner.
3 speed factory transmission, 225 Slant 6 engine. Overall in pretty decent condition, has some surface rust here and there, and the front fenders need work. Most of the brightwork is present and accounted for.
Got sidetracked, need to sell it before my wife's head explodes due to her not appreciating the beauty of a classic project car in our driveway.
Clean title in my name hand. Come with a trailer to pick it up.
