Thanks to @TurboGLH for his original file that I started with and for hosting the files for us. Here’s the link. My dash was already quite hacked up and this required even more hacking to fit, this isn’t for someone with a pristine dash or an original cluster swap.

Very cool, do you have any other pictures such as the back side you could post?

Does it have any factory/factory like frame mounting screw holes?

Also would be cool if you could post some close up pictures to see the surface texture more clearly.

Isn't 70/71 the same instrument cluster? If so, would this fit them also?
good question, i was told no they are different. but i am currently working on a 70 dash, in the process of drawing now.

Made a quick "mock up" of a dash to design the AC control panel. Probably would not take a lot more to make a functional part that could be a lower cost 3D print option for replacing OEM. The original is 3' across, typical 3D printer available for home use is limited to about 12". I could look into making it as a multi-part snap together assembly. I'll have to look at it to see if there are any natural breaks that would make this simple.

I only did it to look at design ideas for my aftermarket AC control knob panel, so it was more an effort to look at overall shape and appearance.

Idea is to make rings around control knobs mimic the shape of the gauge bezels.

Made a template for cutting the hole.

And test fit on an old broken dash insert.
