I am restoring car to original with am radio can't use 4 ohm speakers had to use single 8ohm 4x10 speaker for dash. Can't use any of the stuff that was in car or that I purchased. If you have an AM Radio setup "DO NOT CONSIDER THESE SPEAKERS" They will work with all other FM systems and newer radios but old am radios must have single 8 ohm speaker or you will blow the radio, I found out the hard way. Kick panels are driver quality. Every thing works when removed and 2 speaker are new and new used. See list below.

2@ Audiovox 110T-1032A 4 OHMS Max. 8W 6x9 Oval speakers with Black covers

2@ Kraco 4-8 ohm 5 watt angled kick panel speakers

1 right and 1 left kick panel for 67-76 A body "Black Plastic" Driver Quality has holes in it where kick panels speaker were mounted to them.

1@ (NEW) Rampage Model RSP-40 4-8 ohm 25 watts max 4” mounted in front speaker holder 4x10 size for Dash

1@ (NEW) Radio Shack model 40-1428 Dual cone "Dash" 4x10 Car Speaker 60 watts max in box (Tight fit to heater controls)

Selling as package deal only. $60 delivered in US from 20832 Maryland. Prefer Pay Pal.

Since you had two 4-ohm speakers they would work fine with an older radio. Just wire them in series. Connect the radio to the (-) of one speaker. Connect the (+) to the (-) of the second speaker -- and then back to the radio. When you connect them in series, you have the equivalent of one 8 ohm speaker.

I know this is commentary, but it is relevant.

I thought of that except that is how I started on getting new speakers in the first place because when they say 4-8 ohm, that is not really true and I messed up the amp in the am radio before. After 2nd time radio guys proved to me that I needed to get correct speaker made for that radio amp.
