67 Barracuda 7 1/4" axle # of splines on pinion

On my 67 Barracuda 7 1/4" axle, 323 gears, car is fairly new to me so I am still learning what it needs. Well I found the rear axle was for all intents empty when I was going thru the rear brakes. so I did what anyone would do added the proper fluid to the proper level. upon returning from my test ride to seat in the new brakes about 15 miles, observed fluid coming out the pinion seal the shop I am having do the work asked me to get a new seal and yoke. My question is how many splines are on the pinion for the yoke? I have the small u-joint. Also does anyone know of a source for a new yoke? Thanks Ken

Thanks, don't know for sure, my mechanic said that more often than not the yoke is scored when taken apart. Just trying to be prepared for the worst.

Well what can happen is your yoke can get a groove wore into it from the seal riding in the same spot and maybe dirt made it’s way into the groove hastening the wear. But you won’t know this till you remove the yoke.
