the hinges are spring loaded ...to keep the door shut and it has a chrome knob.

68/9 are not spring loaded on the hinges and have a little lanyard to keep the door from opening too wide as its not spring loaded .....also 68/9 have a push button knob. 70+ had a rotary latch.

bcoz the difference ...the dash frame is different and the glove box plug is unique to 67 ....so this part wont bolt up to later dash frames and even someone drilled holes to got it on a later frame...this door has no latch to keep it closed......so its 67 only
