My neighbor is into Hot racing boats and took this on trade.He is not into race cars.

512 Indy big block
2 speed glide.
Strange Dana 60 (didn't have gear info at this time)
Magnum Force front end with rack & pinion
4 wheel disc brakes
Needs paint and TLC.Last owner never went down the track with it.
Runs and Drives and sounds very healthy
The car was registered in AZ and had plates on it,,,Street Legal ???
I have pictures of NHRA certified tag I "think" to 7.50 I may be wrong
Will have more photos when we get it on the rack and up in the air.

Looks like a '67 rather than a '68.

I thought the same thing that it's a 67. The owner said 68 but we will have to see the vin and title. Today was the first time that I saw the car.
"Street Legal" is bending the truth a bit. Like I said it did have plates on it. Mufflers and exhaust Maybe enough to run Super street class.
Gas milage will be about 2 gallons per mile !:cheers: If you keep your foot out of it. He drove it about 6 blocks from the shop and back and I heard it all the way. He was shaking pretty good when he got out of the car.

What is the thing the converter is bolted to as it looks more like a flywheel than a flex plate?

I have a nice pro street car I would trade him. Iron Headed 496 pump gas car. Has brand new 445-50 tires on the back.. Have not been out of the drive way with it yet so they still have the tits on them. Lights work runs and drives great.
