I just changed out my rear end from a 8.25 to a 8.75, with a 727 trans. The 8.75 has a 7290 yoke, do I have to bugger around getting pieces together to make a fit or is there a shaft that will bolt in out there?

Hmm, when I changed mine from a 7.25 to a 8.75, I didn't have any issues with the yoke, but I had to find a shorter driveshaft. So now that you mention it, I never compared it to the old yoke.

I believe there is a conversion U-joint with two different size ends on the cross, if you need it.

tks Max... ya I heard about the off set u joint, but shaft is too long so if I have to get surgery done I may as well get the correct joint holder for the 7290 yoke. Just thought maybe someone knows if I can find a fit...
