Looking for pics of 67 383 formula s fenders and where emblems are located around car.The guy who had my car before me welded all holes.Look forward to anybody can help. Thanks chris

They're not easy to place, I could not find a template. Mine had replacement fenders and the V8 emblems, and no hole in the fender for the antenna, where exactly do I drill that hole?

I am no expert, but I believe the Formula S fender emblem is the same for 65 to 68, but the placement is different on 67s and 68s. The 69s had a completely different emblem with the engine listed- for example 383 S.

Hey Matthon where did you get you 383 & Formula S emblems??:toothy10:
I got them with the car from the previous owner as the fenders were replaced at some point. The Mopar part numbers are as follows:
1-02579443 for Formula S
1-02579804 for 383 Four Barrel
I think he got them through Year One though- there are not cheap.

I searched everywhere for a template or another car that I could use for the correct placement- no luck.
I ended up blowing up a couple pics and taping them over my fenders, then I took pics of my car at different angles to see if it matched other pics. After all of that sometimes they still look like they are too close, but then again, how many totally original cars are out there to compare it to. If I had to do it again I would try to find used emblems and use double sided tape, then drill holes.

65 & 66 are different, forget which year but one has the studs mounted top and bottom, one has the studs mounted side to side, I think the 66 cars were mounted top and bottom studs. But they definetly made different ones cause my dad has a set of mint originals and he couldn't put them on his 66, he pulled them offf a 65. Not sure on the 67-up cars.
