I have a friend with a 67 Dart with a cracked windshield, He had heard that he can bust out the existing windshield and re use the existing hard to find / one year onlyseal with a new windshield..

Are't the windshield seals glued in,, is it possible to re - use them?

I just replaced the locking strip on my 67 dart I got it from AMS Obsolete.I was told that the windshield gasket is not available.
 
Look at page # 358 of PDF catalog; 1968-76 front glass channel listing. I believe this item will fit your 67. However chrome trim, and trim clips may need to be replaced with 1968 stile.

I would give these folks a call for details of this installation. I have found them to be helpful in the past.

,, the replys have been passed on the guy with the 67 Dart and he said Thanks! ,, maybe I can get him to join FABO...

just asking here,, is it possible to update the 67 model windshield channel to work with the 68 -seals and lock??
Actually I have not looked yet, but I am guessing the 68-69 seals are available..
 
There is a way to modify the 68 gasket to fit the 67, and I don’t have recall the details. I do know the windshield trim & clips used on 67 cars is different from the later cars. Your friend will discover his 67 has a bunch of one year only parts.
 
you can put a 68 seal in and use the 68 chrome and clips.
The 67 seal will be out soon, I receied an email the other day that is done and will be shipping soon!
