67+ hump in a 65? console

Working a 65 Barracuda. Orig. 273/904 console shift car. Going with a 360/904 now.
I have the center console and hump brackets from a 68 (I think).

1) anyone running a later full console auto shift in an early A? pictures?
2) any issues in attaching the brackets to the 65 hump?

I installed the later console in my 65 Dart shortly after I bought the car in 84. It can be done; however, I found that the seats wouldn't hardly slide back and forth since they are so wide. I pulled it out after I found the side of the seats getting torn up from the console.

I am installing a 68 B Body buddy seat (which is actually somewhat wider than the A Body console) in my 65 Dart wagon BUT I'm using 66 A Body buckets, which are much narrower than the 65 seats. This combo still gives me tons of room between the seats and buddy seat.

I need to measure my donor seats. I have a set of Pont. G6 seats to install.
