OK I. Have a 73 360 and a 68 904. Everything should line up no problem right? Is the 68 trans a good one to have built? How long would it last running behind my 300whp 360? Thanks Mark

No it really depends on the parts you get and who builds it. I would do it myself if I were you. Old automatics are really basic in design a clean well organized work space is a big help when rebuilding a trans. As long as you know which order everything came out and do some research on clearances and adjustments, going back together is easy.

Only problem about that is having time lol. I can change them out in a couple of hours. I'm doing frame connectors and rebuilding the front end all at the said time. I'm trying to get in the 7s in the 1/8 mile. The quickest time so far is 8.3s.

I have 2 guys now to car. A buddy on here. Is having his done by PTC. They are who I'm going to have build my stall.
