68 A-body heater blower motor

I’m working on a 68 barracuda w a big block. The valve covers are taller than the factory originals
The fan motor comes out of the firewall too much. It doesn’t allow me to remove the valve cover so I can check valve lash after break- in
I heard there’s a blower motor that is shorter than the original one
Anybody have info about where I can get one?

Go to any auto parts store and get a motor out of a box heater. Usually they have 2 motors in the box heater. Buy one of the motors, you can buy separate and remove the original and install the new one.
