just wondering if this wheel and tire combo will work on my 68 notch. only mod will be SS 002/003 springs, MP .920 torsion bars.

Front wheels Streeter 17"x7 4.25" backspacing.
Front tires BFG 225/50r17 9.2"section width on 7" rim. 25.9"diameter

Rear Wheels Streeter 17"x8 4.5" backspacing
Rear Tires BFG 255/45r17 10" section width on 8.5" rim 26.1" diameter

I was running 17X7 and 17X8 REV 100's on my 67 fastback for about 200 miles before I took the car apart about 3 years ago. I had no issues with them and plenty of clearance. They were set up as follows

Fronts: 17X7 with 4" BS with 215/45/17
Rears: 17X8 with 5" BS with 245/45/17
Tires are Hankook Ventus

PM me your email address and I can shoot you over some pictures

i have 17x7 up front with 4.75" back space. i run a 225/55/17. my tires are 26.25" tall. they clear everywhere. the benefits of a taller tire is that it will fill up the wheel well and make the car look low but still maintain the ground clearance.

Yep, SBP front and rear. Only change to track width would be from SSBC disc conversion up front.

I think with a 26" tall tire in the rear and SS springs you will have a bunch of space between the top of the rear tire and the quarter.

If you are setting up the car for cornering you may want to re-think your spring choice.

Not looking to corner, just looking to look good and get some traction

Pulled the trigger on Showwheels Streeter 17x7 and 17x8 and Hankook ventus v4 225/50r17 and 255/45r17. Total was 1240 mounted, balanced, and shipped.
