Howdie all,
Many years ago I purchased a used 1968 Plymouth Barracuda convertible. It was equipped with a 340 cid in front of a 4 sp box and positrac rear. I traded it for a new Toyota in 72 where the dealer gave me (are you ready for this) $600.00 in trade. It had dog dish hub caps and was all original except for the mufflers back (had to replace them) and a new TRW heavy duty clutch.
I came across the sales agreement and have the vin and would love to know where the car is today. I did find out there are 13 1968 Formula S convertibles like this known to be in existence. Does anyone know of a place where I can get the information on the present owner. Registration records are not reliable as the dealer I traded it to sold it to a collector.
