68 Barracuda Hood Lights wire routing

How are the wires routed on the hood? Previous owner zip tied the wire to the hood frame and I'd like to route it better.

Could you provide photos of how your 2nd gen Barracuda hood lights wires are routed along the hood back to the connection by the firewall?

On my car, the wires run behind the diagonal support braces. They then are joined and clipped together to join the connectors near the master cylinder.
Classic Industries used to sell the correct clips. They may still.
Yes, the previous owner painted over the wires.

Thanks! I had a feeling missing clips was involved. I thought about routing through the hood frame but was unsure of the routing from there. Clips would neaten that up a lot.

Here's some sources for them. Classic is showing the lowest price on their part number MB362, which is useless as they are out of stock.
