68 cuda dash paint

i'm getting ready to soda blast my dash for paint. it calls for aztec maroon poly, in a suede finish. how do i achive the finish? is it a texture paint? thanks for the help, guys.....

Was looking into paint finishes myself at one point and to get that suede finish you add matting agent.
