68 cuda quarter and trunk pan install

hey guys got my rear floor pans installed today now onto the trunk/quarter area. . the new floor pan for the trunk should go no problem after the spot weld fun. the quarters i am wondering where to run the new quarter to. the bottom, front and back is all spot welds but where to connect the new quarter to the old? the one i got goes about 2 or 3 inches above the body line. or roughly the bottom the the window.. anyone have pics of how they did it? any things to watch out for on the trunk pan installation? oohhh and last but not least...whats the best way to do the trunk extensions? from scratch or order for the duster and modify? thanks guys!

One word of caution, if 68 fuel system is like 67’s, its gas tank vents into left rear frame rail. Remove gas tank before grinding, drilling spot welds, and welding in trunk. Ah, but you knew this anyway.
