Well, I'm curious what option determined if a wood grain was used on the instrument cluster on a 68 Cuda. I was told it came when the deluxe interior option was ordered. Car is a Formula S if that matters. I am about ready to have the dash redone and am trying to determine the original configuration.

Also, has anyone used one of the repro bezels from PG Classics? CV Vacuum Platers will cost as much as a new repro unit. Any suggestions?

Yup, the deluxe interior package would have the seat inserts and door panels with woodgrain trim along with the dash. I`ve bought a bezel from PG Classic and I`m not that thrilled about it. The mold itself leaves a lot to be desired, the fit is fair, and the silver paint chips very easily around the openings. The woodgrain also needs to have a lttle more tint of red in color and lighter overall. If you`ve got the time I would have the original restored ,it would look better and be much easier reinstalling. Just my 2 cents.
