68 dart bucket seats

I just pulled my front bucket seats out of my dart and there was a Nicely cut piece of wood between the rug and seat brackets.( 1 per bolt hole)should there be anything there at all? And if so do they make spacer blocks? Thanks

Sounds like someone needed the seat raised up some.

So the seat should just bolt to the floor with no spacers?

Mine were bolted directly to the floor. No wood spacer.

I didn't think they were ever made out of wood but just making sure there wasn't some type of spacers. Thanks guys
