68 dart gt seatbelts question

Putting the interior back in my 68 gt. Are the front seatbelts correct? Are the female portion angled correctly or should they be angled more horizontal . Also I have 2 longer females I assume are the rear seats and only one retractable . Did they have provisions for 3 rear passengers In 68? All belts are labeled 1967. Thanks. Mike

All belts are labeled

The labels should be q3 or q4 of 67 or q1 or q2 of 68

This tag is for a 67 model year

1967 2 (the 2 is quarter 2 ie (apr may jun give or take)

This male end is 67 model year

The male end had square notches

68 iirc has 2 rectangular holes where the 69 has one rectangular hole ( but I can not find a photo to prove that)



This is 69

Also typically the retractable should be to the outside of the seats.

Loosen anchor bolts.
Sit in and just seat to driving position.
Put seat belt on.
Tighten anchor bolts in that position.
Be comfortable.

Iirc the seatbelt should move freely on the post bolts

Thanks for the replies. I see I have the front ones reversed. I will move the retractable to the outside. Also took some pics of the labels

Ok Thankyou. I did some reading and see in 68 the center rear seatbelt was actually an option.
