Is the taillight pocket on a 68 Dart the same sheetmetal as on a 67 or 69? I'm not talking about the taillight housing itself, I'm talking about the sheetmetal that the taillight housing mounts to.

ok a 68 bucket will not go into a 67 hole without some work, and by work i mean insetting the "lip" and moving some stuff around. its not hard if your good at metal working, but really helps to have a 68 sitting there to refer to.
on the 69 sheetmetal i believe its a drop in BUT i cant say for sure as we dont get a lot of 69 to 68 conversions. Chris (132068Dodge) just did the 69 to 68 conversion and will be able to tell you for sure. shoot him a PM

You are correct Mopar Kid, the 67 bucket is too shallow, 68 will drop in 69..
