68 Engine color.

Ok... I have seen that International Harvester Red is supposed to be an exact match for a 68, 340...

I have always seen this in reference to NAPA brand.

My local NAPA carries Krylon. They no longer carry a "House" brand.

Just for fun I painted my valve-covers with some of the Krylon International Harvester Red and it sure looks like a dark red....

Any comments or opinions?

I use duplicolor chrysler red......

The Mopar paint seems to fade to a reddish orange after time. As long as you get a red that`s toward the yellow spectrum and not blue, I think you`ll be fine. As far as being correct, I don`t think anybody would be the wiser.

I found it.... It is Martin Senour, International Harvester Red that is an exact match for the 1968 340 color.
