Does anyone have their glass out and can take a pic from the inside out at the lower long trim clips configuration? I'm swapping my 67 valiant over to 68 & up style trim and only want to drill the holes once and before it's painted. Thanks in advance

yeah, but about 4" from each corner the channel really drops off to about 2" or so instead of the 1/2" or so for the rest of the trim channels

these are from a 68 parts car I have. black stuff below the clips is old sealer.

Thanks Rocky! How many clips are on your lower trim? I went by the rust spots on my trim backs and counted 8.

The clips along the bottom don't actually fit flush with the cowl, they stick up above it just a bit. I just noticed this Friday when I installed a windshield in a '70 Dart. It doesn't make sense but I guess it has to do with the angle of the stainless molding when installed. It goes on pretty tight.
You can kind of see how they stick up a bit in one of Rocky's pics.
Also, the bottom clips are different from the ones on the sides and top. They are taller.

Taller? I'm guessing it has to do with the thickness of the lower part of the gasjet. I have a bag full of clips from cars I've parted out and most look the same and are used for the top and side trim. Does anyone have a pic of the different ones?
