68 valiant coil

I must drink to much but how many wires are to go to the coil, I picked up this car and looking at the coil I see 3 wires one on the battery side but 2 going to the distributor,as far as I can see it does not have a mopar electronic ignition ?????:banghead::violent1: Also the 2 wires from the distributor one goes to the positive side of the coil and one to the negative.

After checking around I think the car has a pertronix ignition system

The car has a viper alarm system on it and it is getting no spark to the distributor. I am thinking of getting rid of the alarm because I think it is not wired the right way or I am open to suggestions.
