Hey guys/gals, times are tight and Im wrestling with this, but I decided to sell my 69 340 block. It needs a sleeve in one cylinder, the date code I believe is June 69. I will post pics and exact casting date Friday. Comes with caps. Trade or sell outright. Trades only for 69 cuda stuff...specifically mint tail lights, 69 "barracuda" fender script emblem. I may help with delivery.

Ok numbers on block 5-29-69 2780930 340-5 I used verniers and measured the bores on the one bank. They range 4.0215 to 4.0275. Doesnt feel like much of a ridge there, but without bore hole gauges I cant be sure if its std bore or not. Pics I took were lousy, so I will try again, as well as mesure the opposite bank.
 
Got some pics, the one side has very slight rust from me picking up at the machine shop in the rain. It will wipe right off. I will get bore sizes if anyone is interested. Thanks

Ok here are the bore measurements. Keep in mind this was with verniers, not borehole gauges, so they were done at the top of the holes.

Driver side front 4.0345" Pass side front 4.0345"
4.0325 4.0385"
4.0305 4.0365
back 4.0370 back 4.0410 back
 
what is the vin on the side of the block above the oil pan rail?
 
im interested just not sure of getting over the border with the block,also do you know what it weighs?
