1969 Steel crank 440 cu. in. Mopar (Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth) big block engine. Full valve job, +.030w forged pistons, 6 qt. B/E body oil pan, new Eddy performer intake, fully balanced. Professionally built. $3000 in machine shop work alone! Engine is a non-HP market. Has an upgrade Crower Cam. Est. 400HP/400FT.Lb torque. On the engine stand, never installled or run.

1969 A727 big block automatic transmission. Professionally rebuilt too. TCI valve body, standard pattern (not reverse). Never installed, never run.

$3500 for the engine, $750 for the trasmission. $4000 for both. I will not sell the transmission unless the engine sells first. My luck, I'll sell the trans, wind up using the motor and have to go shopping for a trans! Thats NOT want to do!

Hey, can you tell me what info is on this block (ie VIN, build date, etc.) I'm on the look out for the block of my '69 Charger. Is the transmission the same #s as the block? Thanks.

On the pad: E 440 with a 5 -14 under it. (corrected the typo.....I had E400 earlier, duh)
On the block: 2536430-8, Night shift, 2-24-69

Both were out of the same donor car, a 69 Imperial. I haven't looked, but I'd bet they are the same numbers.

Thanks for the reply. Well if it was out of an Imperial, it definately was never in my Charger.

I don't mean to hijack but...
If you run by another 440 let me know the numbers. I know it ain't an A-Body, it's just where I started out, with B-Bodies. So if anyone can help me out that would be great.

Good luck on the hunt. You never know...you might get lucky and find them.
