69 Cuda REMauto pressed hood pad

What clips do you all use to hold the pressed pad on? The stock steel ones will not fit nor will the aftermarket replacements.

You have the metal clips or the plastic buttons,only two choises,mrmopartech

Stock is metal, I have them plus they sent me new metal ones and neither hold or even insert deep enough to latch. The plastic ones must be longer where they insert since this pad is around 0.200" thick and the metal clips have a section capable of holding only about half that securely.
