69 Cuda wipers won't park

I rarely use the wipers but recently I got caught in a little rain. When I got home, the wipers won't drop to the park position. Anybody have any ideas of what is wrong?

If you can park them by hand and them kinda flop them around, I bet the bushing at the motor is worn out.

Or it could be a bad...park switch!

I took mine apart years ago for the same issue, and they are still no-op.

The park function uses a wire on the motor that stays powered when the motor is turned off, so you might look up your wiring and find out which wire that is.
Then you can check if that wire actually has power.
If it doesn't, then you found a fairly simple fix to your problem.

Mine had power at that wire, so continuing I found that the motor I had the park gears inside were busted up so I got another motor for 25 bucks and it works fine now.

My experience has been that most parking issues have to do with the mechanism in the motor. Good luck.
