Hi,
Wondering if there is a home remedy for weak leaf springs.
Put shackle extensions on, not much difference.
Just don't have cashola for HD springs at this time.

Thanks in advance.

The only other thing you could do is have them re-arched. Or run air shocks, but I don't recommend that.

Putting longer shackles on actually has the opposite effect on the spring. Yes, you are lowering its position in relation to the frame, but the added leverage of the longer shackle has the effect of de-arching the spring. Basically, if you add an inch of shackle, you'll only see a 1/4 inch rise in the car. If you want to boost the spring, go the opposite way. Drill a pair of holes in the original shackles midway between the factory ones and use that as the mounting point.

find another set of springs and cut the eyelets off the top leaf. add this leaf to existing leaf springs. low buck mod and it works.

Im not a fan of air shocks either.
Adding a section of spring seems to make sense.

Thanks for all the input.
