'69 Dart Grille Difference?

I'm getting ready to refinish my grille. I noticed a few different examples of the same grille. Mine has the horizontal bars all brite finished. But I saw a few examples of the grille done differently on professionally restored cars recently. Why is there a difference? Mine is a GT if it makes a difference.

i think the swinger is the only model that had no black,but could be wrong.

the top pic is the swinger style, bottom is gt/gts style

Thanks. I like the lower pic better. I'm not sure why my GT has a Swinger grille but that will be taken care of over the winter.
